A: lower back tattoos shouldn't sag and wrinkle ... i have a dragon on my lover back that goes around on my leg.... its been like 13 years so far so good... but in time like all tats they will fade a little but not much.... if there is a lot of close details only if there close , they tend to lose the detailing ... tattoo lines dont stay the same thin lines, they all most doubles in like 30 years or so... i just saw ur stars... they'll be fine in the years to come

Are some tattoos on the lower back trampier than others?

Q: I got into an argument with my friend about our tattoos. We both have lower back tattoo, she has a star and I have wings that point down to my A**. She said because my tatt points down to my A** it and runs along my tan line it looks very sexually provacitive. She also said that because I have my nose and belly pierced along with a small tatt on my front hip that it looks slutty. I am so mad at her now.

A: it's the person that makes the tattoo the tattoo doesn't make the person i don't see how wings that dip below your panty line are sexually provocative. that's my opinion. if you aren't a skany chick who bangs everything with 3 legs (lol) than it doesn't matter what you have tatted or pierced. nobody will think less of you for it. or shouldn't. save for a few old fashion judgmental people. if you had a tattoo below your belly button pointed down and wording that said "eat me raw" yeah that would be trampy tell your friend to quit being judgemental and relax

A: goodness, people on here are a bunch of douche bags. if you like stars and your lower back as a location for tattoo than go ahead and get it done! pain on lower back [i hear] is not too bad on the sides, however right over the spine is a bit more painful but nothing that can't be tolerated! depends on the details [how many times the needle must keep going over the same spot] if your tattoo is simple, it will hurt less obviously, however don't let the fear of pain be the deciding factor. millions of people have tattoos, so it can't hurt thatttt much! good luck!

Why are girls/young women with tattoos (beyond lower back and small ink) not commonly seen on magazines/tv?

Q: Other than Angelina Jolie and Megan Fox, I cannot think of any popular female celebs who are considered sex symbols/attractive that have more than a couple of small star tattoos or a lower back piece. (Kat Von D doesn't count to me because she does ink for a living). Why is it we don't see a girl on Gossip Girl, Grey's Anatomy, etc or even on the cover of Cosmo and stuff like that with visible tattoos that aren't really tiny (ex. 3 to 4 stars on the wrist or foot)?

A: Because in the entertainment industry, it's frowned on. Things are moving away from that direction, but ever so slowly. Also, many of the wide assortment of acting roles in the industry, call for no skin art, in order to play various roles. So, in many ways, it's just common sense. Note that the same does not hold true for musicians, who do just fine being themselves. Ozzy is just one example.
