my sister and i want to get matching tattoos--a bonding thing--any ideas? i already have two and she has one.

Q: our tastes are similiar but not completely the same. she likes fairies --i like stars and moons. we have been looking on some sites but nothing has grabbed us both. i have one chinese symbol, and a star sun moon combo, she has a playboy bunny--any suggestions or websites would be helpful. A: My only suggestions would be to take your time and not to rush it. Find something meaningful to the both of you that you both feel compliments both of your personalities and absolutely love, even if only you two understand it; *your initials of your last name *first name's initial *each other's name *heritage piece (ex. 4 leaf clover for irish) *religious (ex. cross) Or maybe you could both get flowers of your birth-month, and put them in the same place on each other's bodies. Don't limit yourself to the internet and finding pictures of someone else's tattoos, I've always taken bits and pieces from all over and incorperated them into mine, and mine are all one-of-a-kind. A good tattoo artist should be able to take all of your ideas (whether on paper, or in your mind) and work them into something spectacular. Good luck.

Q: I've wanted a tattoo of a fairy sitting on a cresent moon with little stars for a really long time, but now I want to change it. I would still like a fairy but some how have a rainbow bridge (it's from a peom about losing a pet and someday finding each other again across the rainbow bridge). The second idea would have more meaning but I don't know how good it would look.

What do you think of small fairy tattoos?

Q: I'm thinking of getting a small fairy tattoo either blowing fairy dust or a fairy with stars or a moon or a fairy and then my name beside it. I cant decide on where to get it on. My wrist is really skinny. Or my upper back, or foot or ankle. Which do you think is best? first tattoo

A: I plan on getting a fairy tattoo too. The best place to get it out of the ones you're thinking of is probably your ankle or upper back. A fairy is pretty detailed for the wrist in my opinion. As for the scenery around the fairy, you should decide if they have a certain meaning to you or just which one appeals to you the best. To help, maybe you can have someone draw the two out for you.

How can I link these up?

A: Personally I think you'd be better off to scatter them unless you really really want them combined somehow. I have 6 tattoos and none of them really go together so I just put them in different areas. If you do want them to be combined you could do almost like a scene; all your elements could make a picture. For instance the sun/moon/star combo would be your sky, a mermaid in an ocean or beach area of it, have land where the cat and fairy would be or something along those lines. It's going to depend most on the style of the designs your using. I think if you're not planning on getting it all done at once though you have plenty of time to think about. But if putting them together is something your considering make sure you put your fairy in a place that is large enough to be added on to. Good luck! I hope I helped!

Q: I want a tattoo..I like the idea of spearows, and crescent and moon, or a star..I even have seen some pretty fairy tattoos..but my hubby thinks they are all tramp stamps lol so im like wtf? he has two..but whatever..what tattos look hot on a girl? i want one one my wrist or back of neck or maybe on my chest not my boob but by the top of my shoulder..idk lol any ideas.. well i like t he idea of all these tattoos..and to make it meaningful to me i would add my sons' bday date on either of them as a detail..idk i just thought i could get some ideas..

A: everyone has spareows and stars, teh crescent and mooons are unique i would put that on your shoulder add some stars too
